Why Our Church
God’s purpose in establishing this local expression of the body of Christ is manifold wisdom, which He demonstrated in Christ Jesus our Lord, shall known (Ephesians 3:10). In response, we the people of Bethel Full Gospel NSW, Inc. to glorify the Lord God in the following mutually supportive directed by the Holy Scriptures:
By gathering together for worship and prayer in the unity of the Spirit (Acts 2:42)
By the exercising of spiritual gifts for the edification, maturing and equipping God’s people for service to God (1 Corinthians 12:4-7; 2Timothy 3:16, 17)
By proclaiming the gospel of God’s saving grace in Jesus Christ to the world and future generations through word and practice (Acts 1:8; Mathew 5:13-16)
Our Beliefs
We believe in the One who was, and is, and is to come [Revelation 1:4].
The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is God-inspired [2 Timothy 3:16-17].
The fall of Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that by v disobedience he fell from innocence and purity [Romans 5:12].
The Eternal Godhead
We believe that God is Triune: The Father The Son The Holy Spirit 2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Plan of Salvation
We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us ensuring the of all who believe in Him [John 3:16, Romans 5:8].
Salvation through Grace
We believe that we have no righteousness of our own and must come pleading the righteousness of Christ [Ephesians 2:8].
Repentance and Acceptance
We believe that upon sincere repentance and a wholehearted accept Christ, we are justified before God [1 John 1:9]
The New Birth
We believe that the change that takes place in the heart and life at conversion is a very real one [2 Corinthians 5:17].
Baptism in Water
We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of the inward work of grace that has been worked in the believer’s heart. It is an act of obedience required of each disciple [Matthew 28:19].
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe that Baptism in the Holy Spirit is to endure the believer with power and that His incoming is after the same manner as in Bible days [Acts 2:4].
The Spirit-filled Life
We believe that it is the will of God that we walk in the Spirit daily and that we be sanctified daily, constantly growing in our faith [Ephesians 5:18; Acts 2:13; 37-39]
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to earth where He will be acknowledged by all as Lord [1 Thessalonians 4:16-17].
Our Mission
Our Vision – is to be Christ-Exalting, Bible Centered, and Disciple making Church to the Glory of God.
To fulfil this vision, our Mission is to proclaim the Supremacy of Christ to All Men with a view towards biblical conversion and comprehensive discipleship.
